Dr. Jürgen Meffert, Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and global leader of McKinsey’s digital B2B work, spoke about the most important learnings on how to succeed with technology enabled transformation. Additionally, he rates the current status of technology enabled transformation in Europe and Germany in comparison with other regions in the world.
As a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, he works with leading firms from the fields of media, telecommunications and technology equipment. Dr. Jürgen Meffert is experienced especially in transformation programs, such as digital transformations, value creation and post-merger management.
After his studies in electrical engineering in Aachen, Dr. Meffert graduated with a MBA degree from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Afterwards, he did his PhD in economic science at University of St. Gallen. Before joining McKinsey & Company in 1990, Dr. Meffert worked as development engineer and product manager for Nixdorf Computer AG and was member of the Open Software Foundation. In 1996, he became Partner at McKinsey.
